And now, here are some links to tools which Josh talked about that are helpful for Bible College students (click on the image to go to the respective resource):
Mendeley is a reference management library, it helps you quickly collect bibliographic information from various web sites, or directly from PDFs. Then you can use it to quickly format the information for your paper. Its a must have time saver for college students!

Free Bible Software: if you are a Mac user check out Macsword. If you are a PC user, check out E-sword. Also, Biblegateway.com is a great resource if you don't want to download software.
Backup Your Work: Its essential to backup your work, otherwise when disaster happens, you have no one to blame but yourself. If you want a simple, and super useful service try Dropbox. If you want something to backup automatically to an external hard drive, then try Syncback.
Do you have trouble eliminating distraction and concentrating on the task at hand? Try the tools below:
The whole purpose of Write or Die is to provide a disincentive.
It gives you a few seconds before it starts deleting words. So work, and work hard, or there will be consequences. There are different levels of consequences based on what settings you select: on strict mode, aptly named Kamikaze, the program starts deleting words in about 20 seconds or so. The more gentle modes include a text box pop up to remind you to keep writing, or just slightly less irritating than having your work deleted before your eyes, it plays a really annoying sound that won’t stop until you start writing again. The web version is free.

For PC or Mac - this program costs $10.00.
Turn off your social networks and Internet access. Of course every laptop has the ability to turn off wireless, but sometimes we like the high tech solution.

Josh ended his lecture with the following quote from Horatius Bonar's book, God's Way of Holiness.
“a holy life is made up of a multitude of small things. It is the little things of the hour, and not the great things of the age, that fill up a life like that of Paul and John (the apostles, or Mother Teresa) ... Little words, not eloquent speeches or sermons, little deeds, not miracles, nor battles, nor one great heroic act or mighty martyrdom, make up the true Christian life. The little constant sunbeam, not the lightning…What makes yon green hill so beautiful? Not the outstanding peak or stately elm, but the bright sward which clothes its slopes, composed of innumerable blades of slender grass. It is of small things that a great life is made up; and he who will acknowledge no life as great save that which is built up of great things, will find little in Bible characters to admire or copy. If we would aim at a holy and useful life, let us learn to redeem time.”
