A Testimony of Healing!
An anonymous testimony from one of our current students: Every year we send out Contact Teams to ACOP churches for weekend ministry trips. Before we go out, the College spends time in our chapel services praying for the teams. When our contact team was prayed for I felt the Lord say “When you go door to door make sure you ask everyone if they need healing for anything.”
My team went to Nipawin, SK, where we were doing door to door ministry on Saturday in a small town outside Nipawin. We were asked by the church to hand out information cards about the Nipawin Apostolic Church. I was with another student and it was very cold outside. We walked up to a grey house just as someone was leaving. I thought “Oh this person is about to leave.” As we walked up the driveway a lady comes from around the corner and is surprised to see us, so she shrieks. Because I am goofy like that, I shriek back, which causes her to laugh. Then she asked us what we were doing, so I said “Oh we are going around door to door and asking if people need healing for anything, or prayer for anything.” She paused and looked at me “Really?” And I said “Yes!” Go here to read the rest of the story. Media Fast
The SRC introduced a week-long fast from electronic entertainment and unnecessary use of electronics for our student body. It can be hard for some of them to abstain from texting, music, and media, but pray that God will reveal himself during the silence and teach them how they might be using media to avoid him or others. Finally, Josh Chalmers put together an infographic displaying ten possible responses to a media fast. You can check it out here.

YouTube Video on Judges
Our students continue to surprise and awe us because of the effort they put into their work. We are so impressed with the creativity they display in making God's word relevant for a modern world. In this presentation, Nathan Tymos, a first year student walks us through a big picture look at the book of Judges.
