ABHE (Association for Biblical Higher Education) is the accrediting body for Eston College. One of the main benefits of accreditation is the ability to transfer credits to other universities and educational institutions. Another benefit is that ABHE acts as an outside body which verifies that we do what we say we are going to do.
A critical part of the ongoing process of maintaining excellence as a college involves a rigorous evaluation from a team of people such as credentialed teachers, student services professionals, and accountants. The most recent visit took place in November 2012. The report from the team was extremely positive and we are pleased to report that accreditation has been granted for 10 years.
We hope the following testimony of one of the team members on the assessment team will be of great interest. Mark Comeaux, a Student Services professional from Hope International University in Fullerton California, said this about his visit to Eston College:
"I had the opportunity to visit Eston College early in November 2012. My experience visiting with the Eston staff, administration and students was encouraging and inspiring. As a Student Affairs professional, student success and development is very important and an essential part of the college experience. Personally I was moved by the care, nurturing and challenge offered to the students at Eston. President Fuller and the staff gave me a renewed appreciation and vision of Christian discipleship and potential for training up a generation to spread the good news of Christ. I pray Gods continued blessing upon Eston,"
Praise God for his faithfulness!
